Big Brain Project is a system made up of neuronal cell cultures, distributed in different parts of the planet and interconnected through the internet. The interactive global installation forms a hybrid universal brain that combines an artificial neural system with elements capable of interconnection and remote communication between the nodes. The project highlights the new communication possibilities taking the concept of synapse in comparison to the digital connection. Big Brain Project, proposes the experience of an expanded, fragmented and technologically recomposed body, which questions the limits of the individual. A global brain, which transcends the borders of its own organicity, and participates in multiple simultaneous realities.
