Wind structures

WindLight and WindCapture are kinetic sculptures, whose movement is produced by the wind. The latter is an indirect form of solar energy. The temperature differences in the atmosphere generated by the action of the sun produce the movement of the air. The wind sculptures move by the action of the air when impacting on their leaves, generating a thrust effect when they are from the front and by the action of Bernoulli’s aerodynamic principle when they are from the front. With their movement they generate enough electricity to illuminate themselves.
