Unknown Bot is a kind of creature that looks for a place where life can be possible.
It is a mobile entity that allows the scanning of polluted lakes/rivers looking for possible life forms and the state they are in.
With this concept, the aim is to encourage scientists to think differently about our environments and the different possibilities to treat them.
The prototype of the solar spider or lizard or whatever, was developed with moving parts obtained from junk yards cutted by laser cutting.
It has solar panels that feed the movement motors, a GPS system to guide/locate it, and the camera through which we will be able to see in real time what it is exploring. The solar panel, together with the GPS, allows it to be autonomous.
Sensors measure different features of the water, PH, quality of water, Chlorophyll, Salinity and temperature. The information is sent by an app on a cell phone and can be used for mapping the pollution on water lands worldwide.
